If you want a frameset, the process is something like this:
It all starts with a request: “I want a bike.” First we need to know what you want to do with the bike. Are you a hammerhead or a casual commuter? What bikes have you ridden? What bikes do you like (style, comfort, handling. . .)? We’ll take your measurements (learn how to take your measurements here), and figure out how to fit a bike to your body’s shape, and your strengths and weaknesses. There can be lots of options and questions, but we’ll go through it all and come up with a plan.
Once we have a solid plan, I will ask for a deposit of 50%, and I’ll give you a date to expect the frameset.
I will select the materials, and (with a pencil) draw the frame, bend, cut, and file the tubes, and put them together.
If you are wanting a complete bicycle, ready to ride, I can give you a quote.
Here is my price sheet for framesets.
